Joe Griffin began his career in digital marketing in 1998 when he co-founded Submitawebsite, Inc., which was one of the industry’s original search engine submission companies. Submitawebsite evolved into a search engine marketing agency catered to the small-to-medium enterprise (SME) market and was successfully acquired by Web.com in 2007.
Joe also spent three years at iCrossing during the early stages of the agency’s growth. He led agency business development, and started the company’s paid media department serving as Vice President, Paid Media where he forged strong relationships with Google, Yahoo!, and Microsoft (Bing), and helped bring paid media services to iCrossing’s roster of blue chip customers.
In 2009 Joe co-founded iAcquire with industry veteran Jay Swansson with a mission to transform the world of content, marketing and journalism. iAcquire is a complete content marketing solution for brands, and has rapidly grown to a staff of 75 digital marketing professionals serving 100+ medium to large enterprise customers.
Joe has been a person of interest on publications such as Entrepreneur.com, Adobe’s CMO.com, The Phoenix Business Journal, VentureBeat, Search Engine Watch, Search Engine Land, Content Marketing Institute, Wells Fargo Small Business, Visibility Magazine, and Website Magazine. In 2013 Joe was named as one of Arizona’s top “35 Under 35” entrepreneurs by The Arizona Republic.
