Joe Griffin of iAcquire & ClearVoice Presents “The Future of Content Marketing” on July 17 at AZIMA Event

SCOTTSDALE (July 9, 2014) – Content marketing works best when you have an integrated content marketing strategy. That’s just one of Joe Griffin’s mantras that guests to Arizona Interactive Marketing Association (AZIMA)’s next program will hear. Griffin, co-CEO and co-founder of Phoenix-based iAcquire and ClearVoice, is a leading expert who will present “The Future of Content Marketing” on Thurs., July 17. The event takes place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Hilton Scottsdale Resort & Villas, 6333 N. Scottsdale Rd., in Scottsdale.

“A true content brand is a brand or company that truly understands how consumerism has shifted in the last few years, and has developed a content strategy to create, manage, and amplify business and editorial content so that it reaches and engages their audience on all devices and platforms,” Griffin explained.

Content marketing was born because of the change in consumerism more than anything else. “It’s not just a new way to reach an audience…it is a marketing discipline dedicated to the idea that content can be strategically created and marketed to a pre-determined audience segment in a format that is unobtrusive and value-added,” he said. “Statistically, search, mobile adoption and usage, and social have evolved so rapidly in the last four years that the very fundamentals of advertising and marketing must shift. I’ll highlight those major changes in my presentation.”

In addition to covering new technologies that support influencer partnerships and marketing, Griffin will discuss common misconceptions even among marketing professionals and C-suite executives.

“People don’t understand that with content marketing there are no shortcuts. It starts with digital marketing strategy, which helps dictate content strategy and ultimately marketing tactics. Effective content marketing goes beyond just creating and marketing content. It requires pin-point execution to a specific audience segment and must constantly be refined,” he said adding that content marketing not only drives business, but it also helps a company better communicate with its customers.
