What a year for iAcquire. As PR Director at the agency I’ve witnessed successes cross-departmentally and a buzz in the office and on the phone with our clients. This year’s milestones included expanding our client offerings, the appointment of 60+ employees, strategic business changes to support our clients’ holistic marketing needs, charitable acts, a website remodel, awards, and so much more. Take a look at our top 10 milestones in 2013:

1. Our Client Offerings Expand:

Our off-page SEO capabilities grew as we enhanced our content creation process and boosted communication from our outreach and promotion teams. On the strategy side, we developed our first client social campaign and broke ground by launching and running our first holistic content campaign for a large financial services client for on- and off-page content development. All in all: our content strategy offerings have expanded to the next level with content consultation and implementation.

2. Our Proprietary tool iRank improves:

For the past five years, our in-house development team has built and managed our one-of-a-kind enterprise SEO and content marketing platform called iRank. This SEO technology offers insight to boost a brand’s rankings on search engines, with the overall goal of bringing a higher volume of quality traffic to your site. This year, our in-house developers augmented the iRank system by conducting a complete overhaul of the content development process,  including the introduction of the article KanBan system and a content planning functionality.

3. Our Brand and Website get a facelift:

In April, iAcquire launched a newly redesigned brand and website (which was credited as a finalist for PR News’ Digital PR Awards). By incorporating more extensive resources for marketers, the remodel broadened the content available to iAcquire.com’s visitors. Rich content such as video interviews, white papers, how-to guides, guest appearances, and webinars were fully incorporated, while better transparency into our client work and offerings were augmented with the redesign.

4. Our Leadership team bolsters:

Founder and Editor of East West Magazine, Anita Malik, joined our team as Director of Content Operations this past August. Since she joined iAcquire, her team has broken content records, bridged the technology development in-house, and oversaw the development of new content technology platforms. In November, Anthony Bajoras joined iAcquire as Vice President of Customer Development. Anthony made headway leading the customer development team and strategizing agency development opportunities.

Seasoned marketing leader Chris Luttjohann was selected to take over the agency’s marketing team. Luttjohann came to iAcquire as a 13-year veteran in marketing in late October. In the past decade, he served in several leadership capacities at organizations like MachineryLink, OnTarget, Zillner, Jack Be Nimble and iTravel.

5. Our New York Office Moves to New Digs:

This December iAcquire New York moved from Times Square to a 5,162-square-foot office at 304 Park Avenue South in the heart of Manhattan’s Silicon Alley. The building features immediate proximity to the subway, recent renovations, and high-profile neighbors including IMG Worldwide, MWW Group, H&R Block, and more.

In 2013 alone we hired 66 employees and promoted nearly 30. As a business, we strive to hire and foster the best talent in the business. Our growth has provided us the opportunity to hire the best talent in Phoenix and New York City and as a product we’ve strengthened our internal team and the outlying economies. Take it from our Co-founder Joe Griffin, who was interviewed by Entrepreneur on this very subject.

8. Our Website Hit 50,000 Unique Visitors Per Month:

In November, iAcquire.com hit the 50,000 visitors mark. The iAcquire blog continues to provide some of the highest quality content in the industry, with expert advice and thought leadership on content marketing, SEO, digital PR, and marketing strategy. Plus industry leaders like Social PR author Lisa Buyer, SEO PR’s Greg Jarboe, Moz’s Ruth Burr, and other guest posters boosted the blog’s visibility in recent months.

9. our community outreach initiative gains footing:

To reflect our longstanding commitment to the greater community we launched “iAcquire Cares,” a new section of our website dedicated to charitable causes. Already we have supported campaigns benefitting the Lymphoma Research Foundation, Thanksgiving is Homeless No More, Youth Foundation, and the Childhood Obesity Fund, and a local Phoenix holiday toy drive.

10. our Framework for a One-of-a-kind Writer Network beta launches:

When not tweaking the iRank system, iAcquire’s developers have been on lock down launching the beta version of ClearVoice, our content creation platform. ClearVoice is the premium destination for writers, creative producers, publishers and brands to connect, interact, and produce unique content. With a backbone of Google+ Authorship, ClearVoice’s role is to connect quality journalists with content-starved publishers. This free marketplace for the best-in-class freelance writers and brands will have a full-fledged launch in 2014.
